Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The VI Baku International Humanitarian Forum on "New world and the formation of new people: creativity and human development" was held at the Heydar Aliyev Center on October 25. It was continued with plenary sessions.

Rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, academician Urkhan Alakbarov and academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, rector of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations Anatoli Torkunov made the first plenary session on "Education and science in the context of development of human capital".

President of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, academician Akif Alizadeh said that Baku International Humanitarian Forus have become a prestigious event in which global issues of scientific and humanitarian issues are widely discussed and important decisions have been made. He underlined that 15 years ago, President Ilham Aliyev proposed the strategy "We should turn oil capital into human capital" as an expression of the country's main political course. In modern conditions, the development of intellectual human potential is of particular importance not only for Azerbaijan but also in terms of socio-economic and cultural-spiritual development of the country as a whole.
