Presidium of ANAS held general assembly of ANAS Department of Chemical Sciences.

In advance, elections were held for the posts of Directors to the Institutes of Chemical Additives Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry and Polymeric Materials attached to the department. According to the results of elections director of the Institute of Chemical Additives became acad. Vagif Farzaliyev, director of the Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry - corresponding member Dilgam Taghiyev, director of the Institute of Polymeric materials - corresponding member of ANAS Akif Azizov .

Then were attended the lectures by candidates nominated for corresponding membership of ANAS, on specialty “Inorganic Chemistry " – Dr. Chemistry Mahammad Babanli, Ikhtiyar Bakhtiyarli and Mirselim Asadov and Anvar Khudiyev.

Also at the event was discussed implementation of the decision of the general meeting of ANAS April 18, 2014 -year “On scientific and organizational activities of the Presidium of ANAS for the 2013”, relevant decisions were made.
