ANAS Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics held “Open Doors Day” for students of school № 162 in Baku.

At the meeting with students Director of the Institute, corresponding member of ANAS Misir Mardanov brought to the attention that, in our country there are great opportunities for the development of science, education, and their integration at the modern level.

He noted that, important work has been done in this direction at ANAS in recent years and the main purpose of holding the “Open Doors Day” is to form a mathematical outlook for schoolchildren, to increase interest in mathematics.

The event was attended by Director of the school Sevinj Abbasova, teachers of this institution - Dunyamin Yahyayev, Aygun Iskandarova, Peykar Hasanova and the staff of the institute - Professor Mammad Bayramoglu, Ph.D. in Physics and Mathematics, associate professor Vidadi Mirzoyev, PhD in Physics and Mathematics Guliyev Abdurrahim and Ph.D in Mathematics Eminaga Mammadov.
