Academician-secretary of ANAS, Director of Institute of Information Technology of ANAS, academician Rasim Alguliev spoke at the meeting of Presidium of ANAS on the activity of the “Turkology” journal for 2016-2018.

The scientist emphasized that “Turkology” journal reflects history of Turkic people, cultural richness and other important issues, and that the publication meets the requirements of international magazines.

Different conferences and symposiums of the Turkic-speaking countries are being held, new ideas are emerging. Taking into account the aforementioned, there is a need to create new titles such as "Turkology and Internet", "Turkology and virtual space" in Turkology journal, academician stated.

According to the academician-secretary of ANAS, the creation of a social network of “Turkology” journal, the organization of forums will form a broad discussion platform for readers of this edition and article authors. It serves the interests of the Turkic-speaking countries as well as the development of the journal, will allow the mission to be implemented more successfully, the speaker emphasized.

R. Alguliyev also noted the necessity of establishing a single domain zone that unites the Turkic world countries.
