ANAS Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry discussed activity of the laboratories and sectors

ANAS Institute of Catalysis and Inorganic Chemistry held event dedicated to discussion of activity of the laboratories and sectors.

Opening the event academician-secretary of ANAS Department of Chemical Sciences corresponding member of ANAS Dilgam Taghiyev informed about the issues on the agenda.

Delivering a lecture on laboratory of “Chemistry and technology of processing of mineral substances” corresponding member of ANAS, Doctor of technical sciences, prof. Mubariz Ahmadov stated that, 1 doctor, 2 PhD works have been defended and 7 articles published in journals with impact factor in the laboratory manufacturing complex processing of mineral resources, as well as carrying out research into the application of grants in the past 4 years.

Event was continued with presentations of corresponding member of ANAS Dr. chemistry prof. Ali Nuriyev’s “Sorption processes” lab, PhD in chemistry Zaur Alizadeh’s “Chemistry and technology of processing of the iron ore raw " sector, Dr. chemistry Arif Heydarov’s “Non-ferrous and rare metals” group, Dr. chemistry Ali Yagubov’s “The synthesis of sorbents on the basis of natural minerals” group.

Note that, events to be continued up to June 17 Dr. Chemistry prof. Ikhtiyar Bakhtiyarli will deliver a lecture on “Physico-chemical study of chalcogenides”, PhD in chemistry Seadet Beneyarli on “Chemistry of oxide materials”, Dr. Chemistry prof. Imir Aliyev on “Chemistry of rare elements”, Dr. Chemistry prof. Mirselim Asadov on “Investigation and modeling of physical-chemical systems” sectors’ research results for 2011-2013. Lecturers told about intended problems in the laboratories for 2015-2020, and development directions.
