ANAS held “Lessons of Heydar Aliyev”

Women Council of ANAS and the Central Scientific Library  held the event “Lessons of Heydar Aliyev” dedicated to the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev on December 5.

ANAS Vice-President, academician Isa Habibbayli opened the meeting, spoke about Heydar Aliyev’s wise foreign and internal policy, his place in modern history, political and social activities for many years.

He said that, the national leader highly appreciated women who are active in the social and political life of the republic.

Speaking about the fact that, today women constitute the overwhelming majority among the employees of science and education in our country, I.Habibbayli stressed that, they play a special role in presenting the ideas of Heydar Aliyev to the younger generation.

The chairman of the Women Council of ANAS, Professor Rena Mirzazadeh, stressed that the national leader Heydar Aliyev carried out unprecedented work on the development of our country, always paying attention to issues relating to women, the importance of the women's movement and the education of women. R.Mirzazadeh also reported on the measures taken by the council and plans for future activities.

Director of the Central Scientific Library, Ph.D in Medicine Leyla Imanova told about life, as well as the activities of the great leader in the field of state-building.

Then, the event continued by the speech of head of the chair of Baku State University, Doctor of History Irada Huseynova, employee of the Institute of Law and Human Rights, Doctor of law Miraga Jafarguliyev, corresponding member of ANAS Salima Mekhdiyeva, etc.
