AR Ministry of Economy and Industry Research Institute of Economic Reforms held workshop on Access to the database of abstracts of the scientific journals: in the example of ScienceDirect and Scopus”.
Workshop was attended by sales manager of Elsevier, the world's largest scientific databases for Turkey, Iran, Middle East and Central Asia Gamze Keskin, also finance manager Yildiz Kıdıraliyeva.
Delivering a lecture G.Keskin spoke about opportunities of Elsevier's Scopus, ScienceDirect and SciVal bases for academic researchers. She stated that, being the largest reference base the Scopus embraces nearly 21 000 articles, as well as various books, conference proceedings, and so on by more than 5 000 scientists all over the world in science, technology, medicine and the social sciences.
ScienceDirect service covers more than 25% of the full text papers in the world of science, technology and medicine. 2500 journals covering different fields can be found here.
Associates of the Institute of Information Technology of ANAS, chief department of the institute Tahmasib Fataliyev and the senior researcher Rahila Hasanova attended in the event.
