II Special Department of the Presidium of ANAS held a next seminar. Heads of the Civil Defense (CD) headquarters of scientific institutions and organizations of ANAS took part.

Head of the department Eldar Guliyev noted that, seminars, trainings and other activities on Civil Defense are organized in accordance with the “Law on Civil Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan”, Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dated September 25, 1998 “On ensuring civil defense” and recommendations of the Ministry Emergency Situations.

He noted that, the Action Plan prepared by the MES for 2019 was sent to the II Special Department. He noted that, according to this document, the annual Action Plan should be prepared by the chiefs of staff of Civil Defense of the scientific institutions and organizations of ANAS and sent to local departments of the Ministry of Emergency Situations before January 15, 2019.

Then, the chief specialist of the Department Oktay Farzaliyev informed the participants of the event about the organizational guidelines and planning work for 2019.
