Laboratory Head of Strategic Scientific Research Center (SSRC) of ANAS, PhD in Physics Farid Ahmedov and employee of the Institute of Radiation Problems, PhD in physics Gadir Ahmadov met with Erjan Yilmaz, Director of Research and Application Center for Nuclear Radiation Detectors of Abant Izzet Baysal University in Turkey.

Azerbaijani scientists have become acquainted with the research and production opportunities of the organization in the production of semiconductor devices.

At the meeting, an agreement was reached on the preparation of joint silicon-based PIN photodiodes, alpha particles and thermal neutron detectors, between the SSRC and the Nuclear Radiation Detectors Application and Research Center.
