At the next meeting of the Presidium of ANAS on January 18, a report on the scientific and scientific-organizational activities of Ganja Division in 2018 was presented.

Head of the department, acad. Fuad Aliyev said that the decisions of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and decrees of the Presidium were taken as a basis during the reporting year in Division. He emphasized that in the reporting year scientific institutions of the Ganja Division have implemented researches on the basis of "Strategic Road Map on National Economy and Main Sectors of the Economy", "Azerbaijan 2020: A Look into the Future", " National Strategy for conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2017-2020 "," The Doctrine of Development of Science of Azerbaijan ", ANAs regulations and etc.

According to the Division’s statistical data, 27 scientific studies have been conducted in 23 phases covering 6 problems in scientific establishments. He emphasized that in the reporting year only 157 books, monographs, articles and abstracts were published in institutes.

53 articles, 21 theses, 2 books and monographs were published abroad. 38 articles published in the impact factor journals. The number of references to the works of the department's scientific workers is 75. 2 doctoral and 10 PhDs are studying at the Division, the speaker added.

The scientist said that the international scientific relations of the division were continuing in the reporting year.

Speaking about the integration of science and education, F.Aliyev said that Ganja State University, Azerbaijan State Agrarian University and Azerbaijan Technological University have base chairs at the division and preparation of young scientists, joint scientific-research works, academical and joint work has been done to exchange information.
