Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

ANAS Institute of Archeology and Ethnography held a meeting with the employee of the Department of Humanitarian Studies of the Venetian University Ca-Foscari, Professor Elena Rova.

At the meeting, Director of the institute, Professor Maisa Ragimova spoke about the international relations of the institution, including with Italian research centers. M.Ragimova handed the scientific publications reflecting the latest achievements of our archaeologists.

In turn, Professor E.Rova stressed that, she was acquainted with the archaeological excavations in Azerbaijan, she also visited some monuments of the Neolithic, Chalcolithic and Early Bronze Age.

Speaking about the goals of her arrival, she spoke about a short-term scientific course on archaeological research at Ganja State University as part of the Erasmus program of the European Union.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for cooperation.
