Division of Physical Mathematical and Technical Sciences held meeting on nanotechnology

ANAS Bureau of the Division of Physical Mathematical and Technical Sciences held a meeting, which was attended by the Vice-President of ANAS, academician Ibrahim Guliyev, Academician-Secretary of the Division, Director of the Institute, academician Nazim Mammadov, head of the Head Office of Science and Education of ANAS Presidium, corresponding member of ANAS Aminaga Sadigov, as well as members of the bureau on January 28 at Institute of Physics.

Academician Nazim Mammadov, opening the event, spoke about the issues on the agenda. He noted that, the meeting was devoted to the work carried out within the framework of the program "Research, results and prospects in the field of nanotechnology in Azerbaijan" adopted by the decision of the Presidium of ANAS dated October 3, 2018.

Then, Deputy Director of the Institute of Physics, Ph.D. Ayaz Bayramov, leading researchers of the Institute, Doctor of Physical Mathematical Sciences Rasim Jabbarov, Elchin Jafarov and Deputy Director of the Institute of Radiation Problems, Associate Professor Ravan Mehdiyev.

Director of the Institute of Biophysics, corresponding member of ANAS Oktay Gasimov, Director of the Institute of Radiation Problems, corresponding member of ANAS Oktay Samadov, Deputy Director for Technologies of the Institute of Information Technology, Ph.D. in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Rashid Alakparov, corresponding member of ANAS Aminaga Sadigov, Leading Researcher at the Institute of Physics, Ph.D. in Physics and Mathematics, Associate Professor Shikhamir Eminov, etc. spoke at the meeting.

After the discussion, changes were made to the provisions of the Division of Physical Mathematical and Technical Sciences. In conclusion, were considered a number of current issues.
