Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Professor Vagif Hatamov, an employee of Turkish University of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has been a guest of ANAS Institute of Botany.

Director of the Institute, academician Valida Alizadeh informed the guest about the history of the enterprise, modern scientific research directions and international relations.

In addition, discussed the restoration of the activities of the Public Union "Azerbaijan Botanical Society", the involvement of our compatriots living in abroad, and the work to be done.

The scientist then got acquainted with the Herbari Foundation and laboratories of the institute.

Note that, V.Hatamov worked at Institute of Botany in 1978-1998, and then continued his research in Turkey.
