The next meeting of Presidium of Nakhchivan Division of ANAS was held.

The chairman of the department, academician Ismayil Hajiyev spoke about the care and attention paid to the organization of the jubilee of people who have important services in the development of culture, literature and art in our country. Academician also reminded that President Ilham Aliyev signed decrees on declaring 2019 as the “Year of Nasimi” in our country and holding Jalil Mammadguluzade's 150th jubilee. He noted that the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov approved the Action Plan on the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the prominent representative of Azerbaijani literature, writer, playwright, publicist and public figure Jalil Mammadguluzadeh.

Then, relevant instructions were given regarding the implementation of the tasks set out in the Action Plan for each of these two orders. Employees of scientific-research institutions of the academic unit have instructed the media to organize programs and articles related to the media, to organize open lessons and round tables. In addition, it was decided to hold scientific conferences and events on these issues.

Head of Laboratory of the Institute of Natural Resources, PhD in chemistry, docent Gorkhmaz Huseynov’s "Nanotechnology and study of nanostructures" report was listened at the meeting. The lecturer gave information about the structure of nanomaterials, methods of research, as well as traditional and nontraditional methods widely used in nanotechnology, methods of synthesis of condensation and dyspepsia methods, which are widely used in various fields of industry. The microscopes of the structure of nanomaterials were brought to the attention of the participants.

Another issue was the increase in the number and position of some employees in the Unit Tariff Schedule. Hanifa Hanifayev, the head of the Department of Finance, Economics and Accounting, said that the positions and degrees of 21 people were increased.

By the decision of the Presidium of the Presidium, senior scientific researcher of the Department of Linguistics at the Institute of Art, Language and Literature, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor Zulfiya Ismayil was appointed as the Scientific Secretary of the enterprise.

At the end a number of current issues were considered.
