On July 23, 2014 at Presidium of ANAS President of ANAS, academician Akif Alizadeh accepted representatives of Fund of knowledge at AR President. A. Alizadeh expressed the gratitude to the President Ilham Aliyev who is the initiator of creation of Fund of knowledge, and reminded that the Fund was created on the basis of the Decree of President AR from May 7, 2014. The head of ANAS told about development of science and public opinion in the country, emphasized importance of the works which are carried out with youth. He pointed to value of the organization of work with scientific Diaspora, and also noted that a large number of the Azerbaijan scientists works abroad. The head of ANAS noted that only in the field of mathematics their number exceeds 150 people. A. Alizadeh emphasized that these scientists need to be involved to science development in Azerbaijan. The president of ANAS told about increase of scientific and technical, social and economic, humanitarian knowledge of fund, finishing to them to the public of national and spiritual, domestic and foreign policy of Azerbaijan on the basis of ideology of Azerbaijanis, essence of the social and economic, cultural processes happening in the country. State Advisor for Ethnic Affairs, Multiculturalism and religion, academician Kamal Abdullah spoke about the main activities of the fund. He noted that the main activities of fund will be science promoting over all country, and also work strengthening in education and educations among youth, distribution in the most remote villages of the scientific achievements received in foreign countries. The chairman of Knowledge Fund PhD in pedagogy Oktay Samedov reported about the works which are carried out within the organization of activity of fund. He noted that structural divisions and the staff list of fund were approved. The office building of fund is provided with information and communication technologies.
