ANAS Institute of Chemistry of Additives held “Open door” day in accordance with the Action Plan of the ANAS Presidium on holding -March 27, the Day of Science. At the event teachers and students of the Caspian Education Center got acquainted with the activities of the institute, laboratories and equipment.

Director of the Institute, academician Vagif Farzaliyev told about the activities and scientific results of the institution. As a result of work carried out in the field of creating additives for synthetic special-purpose oils operating at high temperatures, synthetic oil has been developed that ensures the operation of engines of special-purpose jet aircraft. A technology has been developed for the regeneration of used oils used in various types of internal combustion engines causing environmental stress.

Academician noted the importance of the establishment of the Day of Science in the country by Order AR President Ilham Aliyev. He noted that, this document, signed by AR President Ilham Aliyev, is a part of scientific policy. The Academy has achieved success in accordance with large-scale reforms carried out by the head of state in science policy.

Further, head of the laboratory and the chairman of the CYSS, PhD in Chemistry, Associate Professor Afsun Sujaev and a researcher of the institute, PhD in Chemistry Nazar Nazarov told about the laboratories and the equipment of physical and chemical analysis.
