Book by the head of the Stone Age Archeology Department of ANAS Institute of Archeology and Ethnography, Doctor of History, Professor Asadulla Jafarov “Karabakh: our ancient homeland” was published.

The reviewers of the book are Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Abbas Seidov and Doctor of Historical Sciences Gafar Jabiyev.

The material is devoted to the results of archaeological research conducted by the author in Karabakh over the years, as well as the results of his scientific and educational activities.

The book consists of 4 sections. In the 1st section, the author tells about the material and cultural remains, about the days from the middle school years, the time when he first came to Karabakh, on archaeological research in Azykh, Taglar and other monuments.

2nd section includes the interview by A. Jafarov to the press. The author gives detailed information on archaeological cultures. 3nd section of the book consists of articles by A.Jafarov published in periodicals. The 4th section of the work is devoted to articles published in periodicals about A.Jafarov and reviews written to his books.

The publication is intended for teachers and students of higher educational institutions, undergraduates, doctoral students and a wide range of readers.
