Within the framework of the joint cooperation between the Republican Children-Youth Development Center and the Tusi-Bohm Planetarium, the "Engineer of the Future" competition among  Baku City Schoolchildren was held, dedicated to the 12th of April - World Cosmonaut Day.

The competition was held with the support of Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory named after N. Tusi of ANAS, “Azerkosmos” OJSC, Baku State University and “Park Bulvar”.

The main objective of the project is to extend students' knowledge of astronomy and astrophysics, increase their interest in the space industry, improve their knowledge and skills through astronomical enlightenment, ensure the active involvement of pupils in astronomy associations and space between them promotion of engineering, public attention.

The jury consisting of astrophysics, engineers and specialists created by the Organizing Committee assessed 54 modules prepared by 63 participants in 24 schools.

The award ceremony was celebrated in the TUSI-BOHM Planetarium and the winners were awarded certificates and money prizes.
