Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

ANAS Institute of Manuscripts named after Mohammed Fuzuli hosted an event dedicated to the 96th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev.

An exhibition of books reflecting the life and activity of the national leader was also organized within the event.

Firstly, the memory of the great leader was remembered with a minute of silence.

The event was opened by Academician-Secretary of the Department of Humanitarian Sciences of ANAS, Director of the Institute, academician Teymur Karimli and spoke about the services rendered by prominent statesman in the political and economic development of Azerbaijan. He noted that the great leader Heydar Aliyev paid special attention to the development of science and education during his tenure.

Doctor of Philology, Associate Professor Azizaga Najafov and Doctor of Philology Kamandar Sharifov delivered speeches at the event, addressing the attention and care shown by the national leader to Azerbaijani science, scientists, as well as the results of his far-sighted policy.

Head of the Young Scientists and Specialists Council of the Institute of Manuscripts, PhD in Philology Ayten Guliyeva spoke about the priority directions of the youth policy conducted by the great leader in her report on "National Leader Heydar Aliyev and Youth Policy".
