Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The II volume of the "Works" of Kamandar Sharifli, the head of the Department of Study of Arabic Manuscripts of the Institute of Manuscripts of ANAS, Doctor of Philology, has been published.

The book includes two research papers. One of them is the author's monograph "Fundamentals of textual science". The work investigates the development of textile sciences in Azerbaijan on the basis of numerous Turkic, Persian and Arabic-written monuments.

The second study included in the book is the work of the famous Azerbaijani educator of the nineteenth century, Abdulqani Nukhavi Khalisagarizade, "Persia's Progress Book" (Persian Book).

The scientific editor of the work is academician Teymur Kerimli.
