Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

An international forum on "China and Azerbaijan's Partnership: New Opportunities and Challenges" was held in Beijing, capital of China on May 14. The organizers of the event are Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and ANAS.

President of ANAS, academician Akif Alizadeh, vice-president of ANAS, academician Isa Habibbeyli, head of International Relations Department of ANAS Presidium, Ph.D. in biology, Associate Professor Esmira Alirzayeva, Director of Institute of Economy, Professor Nazim Imanov, scientific secretary of the institute, PhD in economy Rasmiyya Abdullayeva, department chief, PhD in economy Leyli Allahverdiyeva and leading researcher, assistant professor Agil Eyvazov attended the forum.

Discussions were held on the issues of partnership between China and Azerbaijan in the field of economy, new opportunities and further expansion of cooperation in the field of science.

Nazim Imanov, Rasmiyya Abdullayeva, Leyli Allahverdiyeva  and Agil Eyvazov made reports at the event.

Wide discussions were held on the reports.
