Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The delegation headed by the President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, academician Alexander Sergeyev, visited the center of “Azercosmos”.

Vice President of ANAS Rasim Alguliyev, Chairman of “Azerkosmos” Rashad Nabiyev, Russian academician Roald Sagdeev, Academician Secretary of Physical, Mathematical and Technical Sciences Department, Academician Nazim Mammadov, Head of International Relations Department of Presidium of the Presidium Esmira Alirzayeva and other officials attended the event.

During the meeting, the guests were informed about the activities of “Azerkosmos”.

President of the RAS Alexander Sergeyev highly appreciated the activity of “Azerkosmos”, the quality satellite services and projects implemented here.

At the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the establishment and development of cooperation in the field of space between the RAS and “Azerkosmos”. It was emphasized the importance of the exchange of experience in the preparation of highly qualified professionals in the relevant field and improvement of their theoretical and practical knowledge.
