Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The Institute of Literature named after N.Ganjavi of ANAS jointly with the students of Azerbaijan University of Languages hold a conference entitled "Great democratic writer Jalil Mammadguluzadeh: the unity of national ideology with artistic thought" dedicated to the 150th anniversary of a prominent writer, playwright, publicist, pedagogue Jalil Mammadguluzadeh.

The conference was opened by Deputy Director of the Institute of Literature, Doctor of Philology Alizade Askerli and said that the event was held under the Presidential Decree dated January 17, 2019 "On the celebration of the 150th anniversary of Jalil Mammadguluzade". He said that the document is an example of high value given to our literature at the state level in our country.

A.Asgarli spoke about J.Mammadguluzadeh's literary and artistic activity, his special role in the development and enlightenment of the Azerbaijani people.

Later, the lecturer of the Azerbaijan Literature Department of the Azerbaijan University of Languages, PhD in Philology Nurlana Mustafayeva made a speech about J.Mammadguluzadeh and emphasized the importance of further cooperation between the two organizations.

Leading researcher of the Institute of Literature, PhD on philology Gulbaniz Babayeva's report "Jalil Mammadguluzadeh and Molla Nasreddin journal" was listened.
