Institute of Law and Human Rights and the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law, Russia signed a collaboration agreement

Director of the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation, Deputy President of the Russian Academy of Sciences, academician Taliya Khabrieva, Deputy Director of the Institute Yulia Kashevarova and Head of the International Cooperation Department Asiya Belyalova visited ANAS Institute of Law and Human Rights.

Director of ANAS Institute of Law and Human Rights, Doctor of Law Ayten Mustafazadeh spoke about the preparation of legislation, medical law and also gave information on the importance of scientific ties between Azerbaijan and Russia.

Academician Taliya Khabrieva, in turn, drew attention to the important role of science in the modern world and said that cooperation between the two organizations would be of great benefit.

Further, an agreement on scientific cooperation was signed between the two institutions. In accordance with the agreement, the parties will cooperate in such areas as the protection of human rights and freedoms, constitutional law and the development of democratic institutions, the improvement of legislation based on new challenges (terrorism, cybercrime, ecology, personal data protection, etc.), the document provides for the coordination of international and national legislation.

The event, also presented the three-volume book “Judicial Systems of Europe and Eurasia”, written by the co-authorship of Doctor of Law, Professor Rashad Gurbanov and Doctor of Law Ramina Gurbanova. The author of the “Preface” is academician T.Khabrieva.

In conclusion, T.Khabrieva was awarded the diploma “Honorary Professor” by the Institute of Law and Human Rights.
