Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

The presentation of the book "The Azerbaijani artesian well" by the Director of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry, corresponding member of ANAS Alovsat Guliyev was held at the "Sukanal" Scientific Research and Project Institute (SRPI). Advisor to the Chairman of "Azersu" OJSC, professor Chingiz Abdullayev said that the monograph "Azerbaijani artesian well" presented to the public is the first research in this field.

It was noted that the archaeological heritage, which is of great importance as a source of water and life in Azerbaijan, is an ancient example of Azerbaijan's irrigation and construction culture. Azerbaijan ranks 4th in the world for its use.

Speaking at the conference, the Honorary Engineer Telman Aghayev, the Deputy Director of "Sukanal" SRPI, Professor Farda Imanov, President of the Academy of Ecological Engineering Fagan Aliyev, the Head of the Ecological Department of the Institute of Geography of ANAS Anvar Aliyev and others mentioning the scientific value and emphasized the necessity of handing over to the future generations the carnivorous breeds for many years.
