Personal museum of academician Chingiz Gajar operates in Baku

As reported, on June 6th, the outstanding physicist, the head of the Molecular Spectroscopy Laboratory of the Institute of Physics, academician Chingiz Gajar, turned 90. One of the well-known Azerbaijani scientists, Gajar, for the first time deciphered the spectrum of the ethyl, propyl, isopropyl alcohol molecules and analyzed their structure-conformational analysis, designated structural parameters and dipole moment. He is the author of about 200 scientific works and he trained 24 philosophy and 8 doctors of sciences.

State Prize and "Glory" prize winner, academician Chingiz Gajar’s Personal museum operates in Baku. It is possible to get acquainted with the life and activities of the well-known scientist in this museum, which is open to people, scientists and specialists in the field of physics.

The museum contains exhibits including books, monographs, as well as ancient carpets, influential figures and memorabilia photos with scientists.

Here you can see the photos of the outstanding scientist's childhood and family members, as well as facts and documents reflecting the different periods of his life and activity.

Let's note that, despite the fact that he was 90 years old, he continues to contribute to the science of physics and continues to work on the development of Azerbaijani science. He has presented 3 books to the scientific community in the current year.
