Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Azerbaijani students, Alesker Sadigov and Ibrahim Bagirov, who were awarded gold medals at the Genius Olympiad in the United States, visited the Institute of Petrochemical Processes of ANAS.

Director of the Institute, academician Vagif Abbasov noted that this victory is a success of Azerbaijani education and science as a whole. He also said that the reforms in the field of education and science, which have been implemented in recent years for the success of the students, played an important role in the ANAS.

It should be noted that the students prepared the scientific project under the leadership of academician Vagif Abbasov and doctor of technical sciences Tarana Mammadova. Schoolchildren won gold medals for the best project among 420 projects from 73 countries.
