The next meeting of Presidium of ANAS was held today.

President of ANAS, academician Akif Alizadeh spoke about the activities of "Elm" publishing house. He said that since the foundation of the academy, publishing has played an important role in promoting the scientific potential of our people, its reach to the broad masses of readers and, in general, in the cultural, spiritual and intellectual development.

Academician Akif Alizadeh underlined that the innovations in the field of publishing, especially in the preparation and broadcasting of academic publications, require the work of the "Elm" publishing house to be up-to-date and to expand its activities.

The Presidium of ANAS has approved the "Action Plan for the improvement of the activity of the Science Publishing House of the National Academy of Sciences for 2019-2020", taking into account the mentioned. According to the Action Plan it is intended formation of a new corporate image of the "Elm" publishing house, strengthening its material and technical basis, expansion of international cooperation, preparation of the official website at the level of modern requirements, etc.
