ANAS Institute of Literature after Nizami Ganjavi by support of the World Association of Young Turkic Writers held a meeting with the Kyrgyzstan writers.

Vice-president of ANAS, Director of the Institute, academician Isa Habibbayli spoke on the ties between the two countries. He reported that, the academic-secretary of the institution, Ph.D in Philology Mehman Hasanli translated the works of the world famous Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov in line with the Azerbaijani language. The academician also noted that, the ancient Kyrgyz epic “Manas” is popular in our country.

Then, spoke chairman of the Kyrgyzstan Union of Writers Nurlan Kalibekov and expressed his gratitude to the organizers of the meeting.

Further, the chairman of the board of directors of World Association of Young Turkic Writers Akpar Goshali spoke on the implemented projects. He stressed that, last year the works by young Kazakh writers were translated and published in Azerbaijani and 2019 the Anthology of Young Kyrgyz Poetry was published.

At the event, young Kyrgyzstan poets Altinbek Ismail, Nuriza Omurbayeva, Narsulu Gurgubay and Bekbolat Saribay presented their poems.

At the end of the meeting, the parties donated to each other books.
