Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

Chinese delegation of Academy of Sciences visited ANAS Institute of Physics.

The delegation included General Secretary, Chinese Academy of Sciences, academician Enge Wang, Deputy Director of the Institute, Professor Ya Wen, Deputy Director of Xinjiang Technical Institute of Physics and Chemistry, Professor Haji Akbar Aisa and others.

The guests got acquainted with the research activities at this scientific institution, with modern facilities and material and technical base.

Academic-secretary of ANAS Division of Physical Mathematical and Technical Sciences, Director of the Institute, academician Nazim Mammadov told about the main directions of the organization, on important scientific results, as well as functions of modern devices and equipment.

Enge Wang highly appreciated the activities of the Institute of Physics.

The meeting was also attended by the head of Office of International Relations of ANAS Presidium, PhD in Biology Esmira Alirzayeva, Deputy Director for Innovation and Transfer of the Institute, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Ayaz Bayramov and head of Laboratory, Doctor of Physical Sciences Elchin Jafarov.

During the visit, scientists from China visited the Research Center for High Technologies under the Ministry of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan Medical University.

During the meetings, Director of the center, Professor Sevda Abdullaeva and vice-rector for international relations, associate professor Orkhan Isaev discussed the prospects for cooperation with the guests.
