Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

In connection with the announcement of this year as the "Year of Nasimi", scientific institutions and organizations of ANAS hold a series of events dedicated to the 650th anniversary of the great poet and philosopher of Azerbaijan Imaddin Nasimi.

As part of it, a scientific-practical workshop was held on September 3 at the Sheki Regional Scientific Center (SRSC) of ANAS.

Opening the event deputy director of SRSC, PhD in Biology Farhad Azizov stated the importance of the order of President. Nasimi was a deep-seated thinker in a history of philosophical thought, he noted.

Then, chief department of Public Relations, Prof. Firedun Ibrahimov reported a lecture on “Islam and views on paradigm relied on “human perfection and supermacy".

The event, which was held in the context of a discussion, widely discussed Nasimi's life and activities, artistic activity, religious and philosophical views. PhD in Geology-mineralogy Huseyn Mustafabeyli, PhD in Mathematics Vugar Abdurahmanov, doctoral student Elshan Abdurahmanov and others participated in the discussions.
