Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

The catalog "Coins of Garagoyunlu and Aggoyunlu" was published, authored by the head of the Department of Numismatics and Epigraphy of ANAS Azerbaijan National Museum of History, Professor Ali Rajabli.

The catalog is based on coins stored in the Numismatics Fund of Azerbaijan National Museum of History and found on the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The publication includes silver coins made at the mints of Shamakhi, Baku, Ardabil, Mahmudabad, Hilla, Baghdad, Hushni, Erzinjan, Lara, Amid, Van, Sari during the reign of Aggoyunlu and Garagoyunlu.

This work, published by the decision of Museum’s Scientific Council, is intended for historians and those interested in Azerbaijani numismatics.
