Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

Scientists of ANAS Institute of Genetics, Physiology and Plant Protection of the Moldova Academy of Sciences visited ANAS Institute of Dendrology.

Director of the institute, corresponding member of ANAS Tofig Mammadov informed the guests on the scientific research carried out at the institute, the achievements of endemic and exotic plants cultivated here from all over the world. During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of expanding cooperation between scientific institutions of the two countries.

Then, Moldovan guests got acquainted with the laboratories of the institute. Huseynaga Asadov, head of the plant ecology laboratory, Ph.D. in Biology told scientists about the research work carried out in a laboratory equipped with modern equipment.
