On September 19, Central Scientific Library of ANAS held a presentation of the documentary "Caucasus Neolith" produced by Azerbaijan State Television - Azerbaijantelefilm Creative Union.
Vice-president of ANAS, academician Isa Habibbayli, academician secretary of the Division of Social Sciences, academician Nargiz Akhundova, professor of ANAS, MP Ganira Pashayeva, Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting Company Rector, PhD in Philosophy Faig Husiyev, staff of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of ANAS and public members were attended in a meeting.
The film producer is People's Artist, director Ramiz Hasanoglu, screenwriter is Honored journalist Sadig Elcanli, director Elnura Kazimova, scientific adviser is head of the Tovuz Archeological Expedition, Ph.D. It is Farhad Guliyev.

Opening the ceremony, G. Pashayeva presented the film's creative team to the participants, saying that the screen reflects the results of archeological excavations in the Tovuz region over the past 12 years. The film focuses on the study of the ancient settlement of Goytapa reflecting the Neolithic period of the region, its role in the history of the Caucasus civilization, and the views of renowned foreign archaeologists.
G. Pashayeva reminded that the staff of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography and the University of Tokyo conducted long-term investigations in the area, recalling the President’s order signed on 18 April 2012 on the establishment of the Goytapa Archeological Park. She added that the film will be translated into English and broadcast in other countries in the future.
Later on, I. Habibbeyli reported about the importance of signing an agreement on further multilateral cooperation between ANAS and Azerbaijan State Television. The academician noted that many achievements in archeology have been carried out in Azerbaijan in recent years, and currently about 30 expeditions, both domestic and international, are working at the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography.
Deputy director on scientific affairs at the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography, Dr. History Najaf Museyibli and PhD in Philology Faig Husiyev shared their memories about screenplay.
