In the printed and scaled version of the book, the son of Huseynali khan's poor brother Gurban who lives on the outskirts of Araz, falls in love with Peri khanum, to the daughter of Ziyad khan, khan of Ganja, after troubles he gets her. But in the Istanbul version of the work, he falls in love with the sister of the Izzet khan, the governor of Karabakh, who lives in Ajam, and is married to her after a series of adventures.
