Representatives of the “Clarivate Analytics agency” met with academician-secretary of ANAS, corresponding member of ANAS Aminaga Sadigov.

The prospects of cooperation between ANAS and “Clarivate Analytics” were discussed at the meeting.

Aminaga Sadigov noted that, scientists and specialists from all scientific institutions and organizations of the Academy refer to a database Web of Science. According to him, on the basis of basic data the statistical and analytical indicators of ANAS are higher than last year. Aminaga Sadygov stressed that, active cooperation with “Clarivate Analytics” will continue.

Then, Director of educational programs of the organization Valentin Bogorov delivered a scientific and analytical information on ANAS, based on the "Web of Science".

According to him, by the number of scientific publications Azerbaijan stands at the top of the list among the South Caucasus countries.

Representative of Clarivate Analytics in Azerbaijan Aygun Babazade noted that, the organization’s experts will undertake a special seminars to improve ANAS scientific journals in accordance with the requirements, as well as trainings on new features of the Web of Science database.

Then, the parties exchanged views on the preparation and signing of the contract for the next few years, as well as discussed the issues to be considered in the document.
