Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

A group of members of the Council of ANAS Young Scientists and Specialists met with members of the Youth Union of the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) of Absheron District.

The main purpose of the meeting at the Heydar Aliyev Center in Khirdalan was to discuss scientific reforms in ANAS, main priorities of the youth policy, as well as the projects brought together by students, students, graduates and doctoral students working in the republic in the integration of science and education.

First, young scientists and experts honored the memory of the great leader by placing flowers on the bust of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the center.

Elnur Mirzayev, chairman of the Absheron NAP Youth Union spoke at the event and spoke about the activities of the youth in the district. He stressed out that the youth of educational institutions located in Absheron region should establish close contacts with the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of ANAS and actively participate in scientific activities.

Speaking at the event, Elmira Ismayilova, product officer of the Absheron District Education Department, spoke about the successes of students studying in secondary schools and competitions at international competitions and festivals.

Chairman of the Council of ANAS Young Scientists and Specialists, PhD in Phyiscs Assoc. Prof. Famin Salmanov spoke about the close relationship of the institution represented by himself and training of highly qualified staff. "The integration of science and education is one of the most important areas of reforms in the Academy," he noted, referring to the importance of postgraduate education.

Later on, Farid Ahmadov, head laboratory of the Center for Strategic Scientific Research (CSR) of the Presidium of the ANAS, PhD in Physics, said that the CSR carried out important research for the country and attached great importance to the training of young professionals.

As a result of the meeting, he discussed the activities of the future thinkers of educational institutions in the district in coordination with the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists, as well as the organization of regular scientific tours, as well as joint scientific seminars in the High Technology Park of ANAS.
