Azerbaijan has conducted researches aimed at reducing the impact and spread of radon gas. Research is supported by the Swiss National Science Foundation and conducted in the framework of the project “The distribution of radon gas in the territory of Azerbaijan and the establishment of the inventory.” The Institute of Geology held republic wide scientific seminar to examine the effects on the body of products resulting from the split of radon gas. Scientist Chingiz Aliyevnoted that radon gas is one of the most harmful. According to him, about 30 years all over the world is combating the spread and reducing the impact of the gas.
