Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

5th edition of “Azerbaijan dendroflora” by Tofig Mammadov, director of the Institute of Dendrology and corresponding member of ANAS has been released.

The book informs readers about 15 chapters, 36 genes and 156 species of domestic and foreign flora. During the expeditions to various regions of Azerbaijan, study revealed the natural distribution of vegetation, species composition, herbaria and seeds. Also are given the taxonomies of the species, section, genus, and the identification keys for the species. Various world dendroflora plants used in our cultural flora, their taxonomic composition has been studied and added to the book.
