The new director of ANAS High Technologies Park was presented to the staff

Director of the High Technologies Park (HT Park) of ANAS, Doctor of Technical Sciences Elton Mammadov has been presented to the staff.

Opening the event, academician-secretary of ANAS corresponding member Aminagha Sadigov spoke about the socio-political, scientific and pedagogical activities and work experience of the new director of the HT Park. President of ANAS, academician Ramiz Mehdiyev attaches great importance to the commercialization of scientific achievements in our country and characterized the appointment as an important step in this direction, he added.

He underlined that, Elton Mammadov is the author of 57 scientific works, 3 monographs, 2 inventions, as well as 3 manuals for universities.  

Aminagha Sadigov expressed confidence that, thanks to Elton Mammadov's public image and extensive experience, he would be able to achieve an expansion of the technology park's activity and deserve this position.

Then Elton Mammadov thanked the President of ANAS, academician Ramiz Mehdiyev for the high confidence shown to him and said he would do his best to justify this belief.

The government's policy on ensuring economic stability, implementation of high technologies in the oil and non-oil sector will increase social welfare of the people of Azerbaijan. Necessary measures would be taken due to completely shape legal base of HT Park, bring huge investments to the republic and apply them. Main goals at the HT Park is to extract competitive products, implement of serious scientific research, as well as innovative projects, said E. Mammadov.

Finally, Vasif Abbasov, director of ANAS Experimental-Industrial Plant, a resident of HT Park, congratulated E. Mammadov on the new appointment and wished him success in his new position.
