Presentation of the diploma “Friend of Young Chemists” was organized by the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists at the Institute of Chemistry of Additives of ANAS.

Opening the event, chairman of the council, PhD Asoc. Prof. Famin Salmanov noted that various incentives were held at the academy to attract young people and integrate Azerbaijani science into world science.

Famin Salmanov noted that director of the Institute of Chemistry of Additives, academician-secretary of the Division of Chemical Sciences of ANAS academician Vagif Farzaliyev always focuses on young scientists and specialists, brings to agenda not only issues of their scientific activities, but also sosial status and tries to solve such problems.

"The Council of Young Scientists and Specialists does not ignore the scientists who have done a great job in attracting young people to science, and declares valuable personalities as friends of our young scientists," said F. Salmanov and stressed out that, based on a poll conducted this year by young scientists and specialists at ANAS chemistry institutes, Vagif Farzaliyev was deserved to the “Diploma of Friend of Young Chemists”.

The Chairman of the Council also congratulated Vagif Farzaliyev on the occasion of 80th anniversary and on awarding with “Sharaf” order by President Ilham Aliyev on behalf of the young scientists and wished him robust health and new creative successes.
