On December 19, Baku State University (BSU) together with Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory (SAO) of ANAS held a workshop "About problems of wave turbulence in anisotropic space plasma".
Rector of BSU, PhD in Mathematical-physical sciences Elchin Babayev highlighted the importance of the topic.
Then the director of the SAO, corresponding member of ANAS Namig Jalilov delivered a lecture.
N.Jalilov provided a comprehensive overview of the importance of the study of solar wind characteristics in understanding the global structure of the heliosphere, the problems arising from the interaction of the solar wind with the Earth's magnetic field.
The scientist also informed about the results of studies on plasma instability, which plays an important role in the energy balance of solar crown.
Finally, lecture was discussed and questions were responded.
