A report meeting on the results of scientific-organizational activity of the Central Scientific Library of ANAS in 2019 was held.
Director of the CSL, presenting the annual report of the enterprise, PhD Leyla Imanova stated that, the library implemented projects such as "Nasimi - 650", "Hamid Arasli - 110", "Modern e-textbooks on strategic roadmap for key sectors of the national economy" as well as implementation of Presidential orders. In addition, Presidential orders and decisions of the Presidium were fully implemented.
It was noted that “Lists” category of the National Digital Memory Base of the library were included following lists during a year - “Intellectual Property - officially registered inventions and utility model patents” in Azerbaijani and Russian languages for 2016, 2017 and 2018, “Victims of freedom and repression, whose graves were not found", “Azerbaijani students studying abroad” etc.
Imanova added that the library base also embraces the lists of Caucasus Historical Center, UNESCO Chair, “On the search of the Sun” Working Group, “Citizen Initiative” group etc.
Dealing with fulfillments done in the direction of Wikipedia, she said that, the library has held trainings in Armenian language, conducted 900 documents in this language from the library's fund and included in the e-catalog, as well as prepared"Forming of funds" module for the “Library” program and "Electronic textbook" database.
"Special attention has been given to new electronic resources created by the CSL this year," said L. Imanova. An electronic database on mathematics, information technology, physics, geography, chemistry and biology has been created in the education system, including electronic collections of works of science and culture figures of Azerbaijan were included “Lists” category of National Digital Memory Base.
Later discussions were held around the report.
Vice-president of ANAS, academician Isa Habibbayli highly evaluated CSL activity in 2019 and it was recommended to submit to the Presidium of ANAS.
