The next meeting of the Scientific Council of the Sheki Regional Scientific Center of ANAS was held.

The meeting was opened by the director of the Center, PhD in Physics and Mathematics Yusif Shukurlu, who informed the participants about the agenda.

Then SRSC discussed the research programs for 2020-2024. The deputy director of science of the enterprise, PhD in Biology Farhad Azizov, scientific secretary, PhD in Mathematics Vugar Abdurahmanov, senior researcher Akif Mammadli and PhD in History V. Bakhishov made their proposals at the event.

The results of the essay competition on the 650th anniversary of Imadaddin Nasimi were also announced at the meeting, and a group of employees were granted Honorary Orders of the center.

In addition, monograph "Bioecological features and medicinal use of medicinal plants of the northwestern region of Azerbaijan", produced by the 5-year study of Genetics and Biodiversity Department of SRSC, was highly appreciated by the participants.

Finally, the sides discussed issues of cooperation between the State Tourism Agency of AR and the Sheki “Yukharibash” State Historical-Architectural Reserve and relevant decisions were made.
