Fund of Manuscripts of the Nakhchivan Division of ANAS is preparing for publication "Catalog of Turkic-speaking manuscripts and printed books." 

At the event held on this occasion, director of the foundation, Doctor of Philology Farman Khalilov said that the publication contains a scientific description of up to 200 Turkic-speaking manuscripts and printed books. To facilitate the use of the catalog by readers, the chapter “Indexes” has been added to the catalog at the end.

Speaking at the discussions, the foundation’s staff - associate professor Sabuhi Ibrahimov, Fakhraddin Eylazov, a research scientist Kubra Valiyeva and Nijabat Islamova said that the catalog will become an important historical source for future research. 

Note that the Manuscript Fund contains more than 500 ancient manuscripts and printed books. In 2016, fund staff began preparing a catalog of these manuscripts and printed books. The first edition, entitled “Catalog of Persian-language Manuscripts and Old Printed Books,” was published in 2018.
