Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences

An event devoted to the 2nd February - Youth Day was organized by the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Institute of Soil Science and Agrochemistry of ANAS.

Opening the event, chairman of the Council Farid Mustafayev recalled that in 1997 national leader Heydar Aliyev signed an order "On the announcement of February 2 - the Youth Day of Azerbaijan". He said that Youth Day was celebrated in Azerbaijan for the first time in the CIS and Eastern Europe.

Then director of the enterprise, corresponding member of ANAS Alovsat Guliyev said that youth play a great role in the development of the country, and the Institute always supports their activities.

During the ceremony, member of the Steering Board Aygun Ahmadova also presented the 2019 annual report of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists.

Finally, young scientists of the Institute Aytaj Dadashova, Aygun Ahmadova, Gunel Mammadova and Vusala Isakova were awarded with gratitude for active scientific and social activities.
