Second Special Department of the Presidium of ANAS has held next seminar.

Opening the event, in which the chiefs of staff of the Civil Defense (Civil Defense) of the Scientific Institutions and Organizations of ANAS took part, department head Eldar Guliyev informed about the issues on the agenda.

E. Guliyev noted that seminars, exercises, trainings and other events on civil defense are organized in accordance with the "Law on Civil Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan", the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of September 25, 1998 "On ensuring civil defense" and the recommendations of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. He noted that this year training in civil defense was carried out in scientific institutions and organizations in order to prepare senior and command personnel for actions in emergency situations.

According to the head department, in scientific institutions and organizations, planned work will be carried out to provide methodological assistance in the preparation of civil defense and to monitor the implementation of these measures. In order to increase the level of knowledge of the heads of civil defense headquarters in this area, to study and improve the forms and methods of exercises and trainings, the Second Special Department held methodological seminars once a month.

Then department head spoke in connection with March 1 - World Civil Defense Day. Saying that World Civil Defense Day has been celebrated since March 1, 1972 and every year is dedicated to a certain problem, E. Guliyev gave appropriate instructions to the heads of headquarters to spend this significant day in scientific institutions and organizations of ANAS.

Then, in his speech, the chief specialist of the department, Ogtay Farzaliyev, spoke about the methodology for conducting CD training. He also clearly demonstrated the rules for preparing documents in connection with the training.

The seminar also discussed the organization of trainings and seminars designed to increase the level of knowledge of employees about the rules of conduct in case of emergency.

In conclusion, a number of current issues were scheduled.
