Students, joining to the IX Republican competition “Scientists of the future”, supervised by employees of the Institute of Radiation Problems – Prof. Rovhsan Khalilov, Ph.D. in Biology Assoc. Prof. Aygun Nasibova, were among the winners of the competition.

Thus, X class students of Baku European Lyseum Isgandar Yusifzadeh and Nigar Alizadeh were deserved to the second place in nomination of “Medicine and health” by project “Application of iron oxide nanowires in anti-cancer therapy: hyperthermia and immunotherapy".

In addition, X class students of Shamkir-Baku Oxford school – Rashad Naghiyev and Shamil Aliyev, who supervised by Prof. Rovshan Khalilov, have taken the bronze medal in nomination of “Biology” by project “Biology and future biomedical use of Juniperus communis”.

Note that, research works, distinguishing with its freshness, innovativeness and application opportunities will play a vital role in proper defining scientific activities of the future offspring.
