Azerbaijan National Academy of Science

4th year students of Baku State University (BSU) in the specialty "Chemistry" began industrial probation at the Institute of Petrochemical Processes of ANAS (IPP).

In the first group of 27 students will have practical training in various laboratories of the institute from March 17 to 13.

Initially, student students and their leaders met with a teacher at the Belarusian State University, Doctor of chemical sciences, professor Ibrahim Mammadov and Ph.D. in Chemistry Yegana Mammadova, director of the institute academician Vagif Abbasov.

Vagif Abbasov informed the students about the unity of science and education, the activity of the IPP , the research carried out here, important innovations in chemistry and made a number of valuable recommendations. According to the scientist, the integration of science and education contributes to the training of highly qualified personnel.

Further, the deputy director for science, Professor Hikmet Ibrahimov, introduced the students to the laboratories where they will practice.
