President of ANAS acad. Akif Alizadeh met with president of Bulgarian Academy of Sciences acad. Stefan Vodenicharov.

Head of ANAS greeted the guest and highlighted the existence of friendly ties between two parties for many years. Academician stressed out that enhancing these relations attaches great importance. He told about ANAS’s position in “Azerbaijan 2020: vision to future” Development Concept.

Academician Stefan Vodenicharov expressed his gratitude on visit to Baku. BAS carries out fulfillments in the direction of to create academic universities and to sign contracts via international organizations.

Later on, vice-president of ANAS acad. Ibrahim Guliyev stated that, ANAS has set up close ties with U.S. Massachusetts University, Institute of Geology and Geophysics held joint projects with the latter.
